Construction Surveying Technician

Job Description

• RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the consultant to implement the inventory system;
  • Process purchase orders using the MIR-RT software;
  • Enter parts orders with suppliers;
  • Track delivery timelines;
  • Follow up, verify, and correct purchase orders, including monitoring min/max levels;
  • Manage inventory;
  • Supply parts to mechanics;
  • Create and manage products and pricing lists in the system;
  • Receive and organize merchandise;
  • Handle product returns to suppliers;
  • Manage the team of couriers and drill bit sharpeners.

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • DEC or AEC in purchasing or procurement (an asset);
  • 2 years of experience in procurement in the construction sector;
  • Knowledge of the MIR-RT inventory management system (an asset).

• SKILLS

  • You are proficient with the MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel);
  • You communicate easily;
  • You are responsible and well-organized;
  • You take initiative and know how to prioritize;
  • You maintain excellent interpersonal relationships;
